The American Red Cross Lifeline Service is an easy-to-use medical alert service designed to reduce the risk of living alone. In the event of a fall or emergency, help is available at the push of a button. The American Red Cross Lifeline Personal Help Button connects you to a trained Personal Response Associate who can send help quickly – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

American Red Cross Lifeline gives you the confidence and freedom to
live on your own, because there is always someone standing by to help whenever
you need it. This Personal Emergency Response Service (PERS) is provided by the
American Red Cross in collaboration with Lifeline Systems, Inc., and is
available to you or your loved ones 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year. Get peace
of mind . . . get Lifeline.
How does it
work?
To call for
help, you simply press the Personal Help Button you wear as a pendant or as a
wristband. The Personal Help Button activates a small in-home communicator that
automatically dials the Lifeline Response Center.
Within seconds, your call will
be answered by one of Lifeline's caring, highly trained operators called
Lifeline Monitors. You will never be asked to talk to a machine.
You might be calling to tell us
you have a minor problem that only requires a neighbor to stop by--or you may
need an ambulance. Whatever you need, Lifeline will respond quickly.

The basic
speakerphone unit that works with the Lifeline Personal Help Button to provide
protection to subscribers. The basic unit easily connects to any regular
telephone.
The
Classic PendantTM
The Classic PendantTM was
designed with the look of jewelry. This ivory-colored pendant with gold-tone
bead and personal help button eliminates the self-consciousness you may feel
about having a Lifeline service. At half an ounce, it is comfortable to wear, as
well as completely waterproof. The Classic PendantT comes with a soft adjustable
neckcord and is packaged in its own brushed burgundy jewelry box.
SlimlineTM Personal Help Button
One of two fully waterproof Personal Help Buttons available to
Lifeline subscribers that are used to call for help with a simple press. Can be
worn as either a pendant or on the wrist like a watch.
